05/02: update on the flatline comp
Basically we got a few edits in over the last few days, but they were made a while back. We really wanna see some new fresh edits that have been inspired by the comp... so yeah, we will still look at older ones, but if you film something new, then you're probably gonna have a better chance of winning!

02/02: flatline x ugzine edit comp
Basically, Derrick at Flatline was kind enough to hook up a frame to give away however I want!
What you need to do is film and create a edit... but we're going to give the frame to the funnest, most creative edit... not just to the most bangin' omg wtf edit. Points obviously go to fun and creativity, but also to the quality of the edit itself. Riding comes into it at some point I guess, but it's not what I'm looking for!
Oh yeah, email your edits links (vimeo or youtube is awesome) through to stayfresh@ugzine.com
Here's the promo...

Now get filming! Entries close on Sunday 21st February @ 9PM.
Update: I have had a couple of questions, so a couple of things to add. First thing is that the edit should be of one rider, not a group of riders or a scene. Second thing is that the edit should be pretty strongly related to BMX and contain BMX riding - It can have other funny shennanigans included, etc, but it should be a BMX edit. Third thing is that the prize goes to whoever - rider or filmer, i don't really care - you can sort that out!
Update 2: FRESH EDITS ARE BETTER! That means that if you submit an edit made before we started this comp, we'll look at it, but if you submit an edit that you've made fresh, then your chances are looking A LOT better.

Like Mitch said on Diversity, the production values are out of this world. Apparently the guy who produced this (Oliver Smith) is a gun with a video camera and a textbook perfectionist, I think this edit is proof of that.
Oliver has been doing a lot of MTB edits so hopefully he will crank out a few more BMX ones over time.
PS. WTF is leaf cycles?
